A few weeks ago we heard the sad tale of five children who were killed by lightning while praying at a large metal cross in the town of Santa Maria del Rio, Mexico. This week a woman in Alabama barely escaped with her life after she was hit by lightning while she was praying to “God” to keep her children safe during a very strong thunderstorm. (wsbt.com)
