A BUNCH OF WANNABE NAZIS AND COMMIES

A few weeks ago we learned that about a quarter of Germans still have a soft spot for Nazi rule. This week a new poll found that over 20 percent of Germans would like to have the Berlin Wall rebuilt. Obviously the desire for the Good Ol’ Days was highest among former citizens of communist East Germany, who would rather suck on the government teet than try to compete with the joyless hard workers of West Germany. The poll found that only three percent of former East Germans expressed satisfaction with the way capitalist democracy works, with 73 percent claiming that socialism would be a good idea if it was implemented properly.
