WAR IS DUMB, AND SO ARE ITS SURVIVORS

A new study out of Great Britain suggests that it might be better to be stupid if you’re called off to fight in a war. After analyzing death records and IQ scores of soldiers who fought in the second world war researchers found that more intelligent soldiers were more likely to be killed. While the soldiers who died had an average IQ score of 100.8 the survivors who had taken the same test scored an average of 97.4. Past research has proven that under normal conditions smart people tend to liver longer than average but this study indicates that you better be smart enough to dodge the draft in order get the benefit of intelligence.
