The body of a bizarre kitten born with one huge eye and no nose has been sold to the curator of a museum of oddities which aims to promote the theory of creationism. Cyclops the kitten was born last year with a rare disorder called holoprosencephaly which caused the freakish giant eye to take up the majority of the kitten’s head. It’s owner refused an offer from Ripley’s Believe It or Not! but has sold the kitten to the creator of the Lost World Museum because she believes that “creationism should be an option for people to consider”. John Adolfi, the new owner of Cy, has also collected giant plants and eggs, deformed animal remains and strange archaeological finds which he believes proves that evolutionary forces couldn’t possibly be responsible for life on Earth. “My question is this.” wrote Adolfi on his website. “Are there really positive mutations? All I can see are neutral or negative.” (NBC)
