EAT MY SMOG

Kyoto, Schmyoto... who says we can’t solve global warming the old-fashioned way by accidently discovering cool new technologies? For example, new smog-eating cement is now being tested in Europe after builders discovered that a new building material which contains titanium dioxide actually absorbs pollutants from car exhaust and heating emissions in cities. Several companies are now developing “smog-eating” building products and the new substances will soon be tested in the buildings, city squares and highways of Europe and Japan.
