A man in Switzerland managed to con one of that country’s biggest newspapers into publishing a fake full-color two-page Gucci ad of himself posing with a bottle of perfume. Best of all, the scammer managed to have the $50,000 bill for the expensive advertising spread sent to Gucci’s head office in Italy. "We've spoken to Gucci and apologized for the mistake," said the editor of the Swiss weekly. "We're going to try and get the money back from this guy, but we don't rate our chances." (AP)
