NO ONE IS INNOCENT
Everyone knows that kids use all sorts of tricks and lies to screw with their parents, but new research has discovered that the deception begins as early as six months old. Yes, babies lie. Behavioural psychologists from the University of Portsmouth found that infants as young as six months old use fake crying and pretend laughter in order to manipulate their parents. By eight months of age, the little brats have graduated to techniques such as distracting their parents’ attention and concealing forbidden activities... and it’s all downhill from there. Before this research it was believed that the developing brain was not capable of lying until the age of four. (The Telegraph)
