Last week we learned about the Army’s plan to re-hydrated dried food with a soldier’s urine). This week we have a perfect drink to go along with your pee-soaked meal as a political group in India has created the world’s first soft drink made from cow’s urine. The Hindu nationalist group behind the new creation promotes cow urine as an inexpensive medicinal beverage which can cure a wide variety of ailments ranging from obesity to cancer. The new drink -- gau jal (cow water in Sanskrit) -- will include ayurvedic herbs to stimulate even more curative powers. “Don’t worry, it won’t smell like urine and will be tasty too,” promised Om Prakesh, the pee-brain behind this idea.
